In collaboration with Coast to Coast Music Group, 2 Meter Sessions is releasing, for the first time in its history, an extensive collection of its finest recordings on vinyl.

2 Meter Sessions is a well-known Dutch music program founded in 1987 by radio host Jan Douwe Kroeske. The concept of the show is simple yet powerful: artists perform their music live in an intimate setting, resulting in unique, pure versions of their songs. The sessions are defined by their authentic atmosphere and focus on musical quality, without any frills.

Over the years, 2 Meter Sessions has built a strong reputation as an important platform for artists to showcase their best work, often in ways that differ from traditional studio recordings. The program has amassed an extensive archive and is broadcast on both radio and television. Today, it’s also available on platforms like YouTube, where music enthusiasts can continue to enjoy these unique recordings.

This LP features a selection of songs Steve Wynn recorded during 2 Meter Sessions, performing both With his indie supergroup Gutterball (1993) and with his own band (1996). Best known as the frontman of The Dream Syndicate in the 1980s, Wynn later became a pioneer of the alt-country genre. In the early 1990s, he formed Gutterball and launched a successful solo career, blending raw energy with evocative storytelling.
