    Bettie Serveert is a Dutch indie rock band that gained prominence in the 1990s with their jangly, melodic guitar-driven sound. Formed in Amsterdam in 1990, the group features Canadian-born vocalist Carol van Dijk, guitarist Peter Visser, and bassist Herman Bunskoeke, with drummer Berend Dubbe initially completing the lineup. Their 1992 debut album, Palomine, became a critical and college radio favorite, blending jangly melodies with powerful guitar work. Known for their heartfelt songwriting and versatility, the band has released numerous albums, including Lamprey (1995) and Damaged Good (2016), while maintaining a devoted cult following. Over three decades, Bettie Serveert has remained a key figure in the indie rock scene, celebrated for their enduring creativity and dynamic performances.
